At Swire Renewable Energy, we're looking for a talented Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team in a unique dual-role position that combines finance business partnering with ownership of our group-wide Power BI semantic models.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys both commercial finance and business intelligence, and who wants to play a key role in enabling better decisions across the organisation.

Role overview:

We are seeking an analytical and commercially minded Finance Business Partner to support one of our Business Units while owning our group-wide Power BI semantic models and reporting environment. Reporting directly to our Head of Finance, you will work closely with Finance, Operations, HR, IT, and senior leadership to provide financial insight and ensure trusted, high-quality reporting across the business.

This is a highly visible role combining project controlling, financial planning, commercial support, and business intelligence. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring business requirements are translated into scalable reporting solutions and actionable insights.

Location: Lystrup, London, Hull or Szczecin

What you'll be doing:

Finance Business Partnering

• Partner with operational and project leaders to provide financial insight and decision support.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and month-end activities for the one of our Business Units.

• Support commercial decision-making, including tender and profitability analysis.

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Own and develop the company's Power BI semantic models and reporting environment.

• Deliver scalable reporting solutions, KPIs, and insights that support decision-making across the organisation.

• Promote strong governance, documentation, and data quality standards.

Business & IT Collaboration

• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams.

• Translate business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions.

• Support the continued development of data-driven decision-making and self-service BI capabilities.

Requirements for this position:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.

• Experience within Finance Business Partnering, Controlling, FP&A, Business Intelligence, or similar analytical roles.

• Strong Power BI experience, including semantic modelling, DAX, and report development.

• Working knowledge of SQL and experience working with large datasets.

• Advanced Excel skills and strong systems understanding.

• Ability to communicate complex financial and technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders.

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Tabular Editor, deployment pipelines, Git, or dbt would be advantageous.

• Fluent in English.
