Head of Operations Support

Swire Renewable Energy with its local office in Szczecin, Poland is looking for Head of Operations Support.

Role overview:

We are looking for a Head of Operations Support to help shape the next stage of our journey.

This newly created role offers the opportunity to bring people, processes and priorities together in support of our global operations. Working across functions and regions, you will help build strong foundations for future growth while ensuring a consistent and effective approach across the business.

What you'll be doing:

• Define and enforce standard operating processes across all support activities.

• Drive a “one way of doing things” approach, to deliver efficient, consistent support across business units.

• Lead and manage the Operations Support functions to ensure projects are fully resourced and supported during project bidding and planning stages to ensure on-time delivery and mobilisation compliance.

• Ensure all projects are supported with the right people, in the right place, at the right time, with the right equipment.

• Act as the escalation point for operational delivery issues arising from support functions.

• Establish performance metrics and reporting systems to measure support function effectiveness in line with expectations.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational support processes.

• Act as a bridge between the Operations Delivery teams and Support Functions, fostering strong collaboration and acting as the point of escalation to resolve issues.

Requirements for this position:

• Experience in Operations Management Leadership, supporting multi-country environments and diverse employee groups, including technical/field populations.

• Strong track record in supporting internal SLA delivery and performance.

• Experience standardising processes and improving efficiency across teams, functions or regions, with a focus on reducing duplication and improving consistency.

• Demonstrated success in leading teams and supporting the development of team members.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with process development and implementation.

• Fluent in English
