Service Technician – Offshore Wind (SOV)

We are looking for experienced Wind Industry Technicians to join our team for a long-term SOV-based offshore service project starting in January 2027. The project involves inspection, maintenance and repair of offshore wind turbine foundations, transition pieces and associated infrastructure. Previous offshore experience is preferred. We also welcome experienced onshore service technicians and wind turbine installation technicians who are interested in transitioning into offshore service and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections, maintenance and repairs on offshore wind turbine foundations and transition pieces.

• Carry out bolt tightening, tensioning and replacement.

• Inspect and maintain ladders, gratings, access systems and other structural components.

• Perform minor mechanical repairs, component replacements and general maintenance.

• Conduct safety inspections and complete relevant maintenance checklists.

• Report defects, document completed work and follow applicable HSE procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the wind energy industry

• Good mechanical and technical skills

• Ability to work effectively in an offshore team

• Good command of English

We are looking for experienced wind industry technicians with a background in service, maintenance or installation. Previous offshore experience is preferred, but candidates with relevant onshore wind experience are also encouraged to apply.

Required certifications:

✅GWO Basic Safety Training (4 modules)

✅ GWO Sea Survival

✅ GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART)

✅ Valid OGUK/NOGEPA

✅ Chester Step Test

Additional requirements:
